95% Recycled Material
Composite fencing is manufactured from a 95% blend of reclaimed wood and recycled plastics.
Through innovative methods of reusing sawdust, composite fencing never requires a tree to but cut down! Wood that would otherwise by sent to the landfill can be turned into sawdust that’s blended with recycled plastics.
These recycled plastics used in composite fencing can range from sandwich bags to shopping bags to plastic wrappings for toilet paper.
In a typical 100 linear foot of composite fencing, there are nearly 140,000 recycled plastic bags!
TREX® composite fencing factories are even environmentally friendly, eliminating smoke stacks, reusing runoff and refuse, and using equipment that runs on vegetable oil!

Warranty Information
Composite fences are built to last, withstanding 110mph sustained winds and 130mph gusts! They’re resistant to insects and rot. In fact, TREX® stands behind their composite fencing products with a 25 year limited residential warranty.
At Central Iowa Fencing, we offer a 1 year warranty on our wood fencing installations. Many other companies decline to offer warranties on wooden fences at all because of the organic processes that naturally affect a fence.
On top of the material warranties, we offer a 1 year warranty on all workmanship related items as well as on dug posts with concrete. We’re proud to offer a 5 year warranty for post heaving (i.e. pulling out of the ground) for driven posts.
